Lazarus Pass

Complete quests, earn XP, and climb a 50-level reward track — a Free track and a VIP track running side by side — that hands out skill points, schematics, weapons, Cash and ATM upgrades as you go. Open your phone (/phone) and tap the Lazarus Pass app to start.

How the Pass Works

The Lazarus Pass is your wipe-long progression track. Complete quests and stay online to earn XP, level up, and claim rewards — including the skill points you need to unlock perks.

Two things feed your XP counter:

  • Online time — you earn XP automatically while you are on the server, at a flat rate of 1 XP per hour.
  • Quests — completing tasks from the Lazarus Pass app drops bigger chunks of XP at a time. This is the fast lane.

When you earn enough XP to level up, a reward becomes available on your Pass. Open the Lazarus Pass app on your phone (/phone) to claim it — rewards do not auto-deliver, you have to tap the level to collect.

Quests

Quests are the engine of the Pass. Open your phone with /phone and tap the Lazarus Pass app to see your current tasks, track progress, and claim the XP when they are done.

Quests come from four pools that refresh on different timers: Daily quests reset every day, Weekly and Special quests rotate on a longer cycle, and a VIP pool adds extra tasks for VIP players. Within those pools, tasks span four categories so every playstyle has options:

Survivor Quests

The revamp's survival hooks — staying alive against the infected and the island itself.

  • Cure your infection with Anti-Viral Medication
  • Treat wounds — stop bleeding, splint a broken leg, or revive a downed teammate
  • Kill infected — Walkers, Ferals, or a horde Brute
  • Help clear a monument horde outbreak
  • Survive a Night Surge from dusk to dawn
  • Scavenge ground loot across the monuments
  • Turn in a distress-event objective at the Outpost
  • Collect schematic pieces or upgrade a Tool Cupboard tier

Farmer Quests

Focus on farming and civilian production — the safest XP for newer players.

  • Gather stone, ore or wood in set quantities
  • Craft specific items or upgrade building components
  • Kill animals — deer, boar, bear, wolf
  • Place turrets or CCTV cameras at your base
  • Harvest drug plants
  • Process drug crops in a recycler
  • Sell crops or drugs at outpost vendors

Bandit Quests

Mid-risk tasks that push you toward monuments, events and high-value loot.

  • Sell gold bars recovered from a bank heist
  • Complete bank heist objectives at Lazaria Town or Scraptown
  • Participate in cargo ship or supply-drop events
  • Open oil rig crates
  • Earn Redemption Points (RP)

Outlaw Quests

PvP-heavy objectives for players who want to fight their way up the track.

  • Get weapon kills — rifle, shotgun, explosive and more
  • Kill the Bradley APC or the patrol helicopter
  • Earn RP from killing geared players
You still earn XP between questsCompleting quests is the fastest way to level up, but you earn 1 XP per hour just by being on the server — so your progress never stalls completely.

The Reward Track

There are 50 reward levels on the Normal track. The table below covers every level that is active — collect rewards from the Lazarus Pass app on your phone.

Schematics that arrive as Pass rewards are redeemed from the Crates Shop app on your phone. Skill-point rewards are delivered to your pool and spent via the Skills app. RP capacity upgrades are permanent for the wipe.

Milestone levels (10, 20, 30, 40, 50) pay progress toward big multi-piece schematics instead of a small one-off — the track builds toward real end-game unlocks rather than scattering random pulls.

ATM capacity upgrades permanently raise the maximum Cash you can hold in your bank account for the wipe. RP capacity upgrades raise the ceiling on how many Redemption Points you can hold at once.

VIP Track

VIP players unlock a parallel track with all 50 reward levels filled, running alongside the Normal rewards. VIP rewards are weighted toward high-value gear and schematic progress — including pieces toward the Mythic tier.

Every level you claim on the Normal track is also claimable on the VIP track if you have VIP. The VIP track does not replace Normal rewards — it stacks on top of them.

After Level 50

Reaching level 50 does not cap your progression. XP keeps accumulating and the level counter keeps ticking — the XP required per level just scales differently once the main reward track ends.

After level 50 the Pass applies a 0.05 scaler to XP requirements, meaning each level asks for a little more than the last. There are no more claim-and-collect reward levels beyond the main track, but your level still climbs throughout the wipe — so every quest you complete and every hour you stay online continues to count.

Keep doing questsEven post-50, completing quests is worth it — you may still earn schematic pieces and perks from other sources, and staying active keeps you ahead of rivals on the leaderboard.

Keeping It Rolling

A few habits that make the Pass pay off across the whole wipe:

  1. Check the Lazarus Pass app every sessionTasks rotate — if a task does not fit your plan, complete what you can and come back when the pool refreshes.
  2. Bank your Cash before you push contentSeveral Pass rewards deliver Cash directly. Bank it at an ATM immediately so it is safe even if you die on your next run. Your ATM capacity grows with the Pass, so keep pace with those upgrades.
  3. Spend skill points as they arriveOpen the Skills app and put points into your chosen tree. Early perks compound quickly — the 25 Skill Points reward at level 18 is enough to switch on a Drug Harvester or Crop Seller that pays for itself the same session.
  4. Redeem schematics in the Crates Shop appSchematic rewards stay in a queue until you redeem them. Open your phone (/phone) and tap the Crates Shop app to open any pending pieces and add them to your Schematics vault.
